摘要 <p>A continuously variable power transmission apparatus for a HEV(Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is provided to charge the energy in a charging device when braking the vehicle by installing thin plate electric motors embedded in two wheels. A continuously variable power transmission apparatus for a HEV(Hybrid Electric Vehicle) comprises a motor(12), forward and reverse controllers, an input roller(22), an output roller(26), a disk(28), an output part, a differential gear(40), and wheels(42). The motor is directly connected to a crank shaft of an engine(10). The forward and reverse controllers are connected with input shafts(14). The input roller is connected with an output shaft(36) of the controllers. The disk is contacted with a first contact surface of the input roller and a second contact surface of the output roller simultaneously. The forward and reverse controllers include forward gears(16), double pinion type planetary gear sets(18), and reverse clutches(C). The wheels have thin plate electric motors(44) connected with charging devices.</p>
