A method for estimation of degree of negative effect of nitrates and nitrites on organism of young cattle stock is based on an analysis of antioxidant protection system by activity of blood enzymes in which enzyme activity of superoxidedismutase is additionally determined and by complex picture of enzyme activity of antioxidant system the degree of negative effect of nitrate loading is evaluated.
