A planetary gear set of a transfer case without switching impact sound is provided to reduce the shock noise generated when a low mode is switched into an automatic mode by sliding an auxiliary output shaft on an output shaft through a shift fork. A planetary gear set of a transfer case without switching impact sound comprises a sung gear(34), a pinion gear(36), an auxiliary output shaft(41), a friction material(42), and plates(43). The sun gear is coupled to an input shaft(31) by a connecting pin(33). The pinion gear is fixed to a carrier(35) to an outside of the sun gear and tooth-engaged to a ring gear(38) working as a reaction force element. The auxiliary output shaft is slidingly coupled with the carrier and an output shaft(32) by receiving the shaft force from a shift fork(40). The plates are alternately placed with the friction material. The planetary gear set is integrally formed by friction force between the friction material and the plate by sliding the auxiliary output shaft on the output shaft through the shift fork.
