<p>The present invention relates to an outer cover of a ball, and the corresponding ball, and is applicable particularly to basketballs. The cover comprises at least two main areas bounded by a border. Characteristically, each main area comprises at least one raised or sunken path extending in a given direction, continuously or discontinuously, from a first point to a second, opposite point on the border, and comprises at least two raised or sunken geometrical patterns forming a line of patterns that repeat, optionally more or less identically, along the path. Thus, with such raised or sunken reliefs, in the manner of a "tyre", in the main areas of the outer cover of the ball, better adhesion is obtained, especially for handling the ball, as is the case for example with a basketball.</p> |
