Cosmetic composition comprises an acrylic acid homopolymer and a (meth)acrylate/(meth)acrylate hydroxyester copolymer in which the weight ratio of the copolymer to the ester is 0.1-10, in a medium. An independent claim is included for a cosmetic process of hair treatment comprising applying the composition to the hair and rinsing the hair after an exposure time.
