#CMT# #/CMT# The cab has a mobile part (3) articulated on a fixed part (1) by a base articulation (4) with a transversal rotational axle (I-I) for rotating between high and low positions. The part (3) has mobile side and front walls (3a, 3b) respectively covering fixed side and front walls (1a, 1b) of the part (1) in the low position. The wall (1b) has a cylindrical portion centered on the axle. The wall (3b) has an end portion (3c) permanently resting near the wall (1b) during rotation of the part (3). The articulation has a lateral guiding unit (17) to displace the part (3) with respect to the part (1). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in a motor caravan (claimed) for allowing child or adult to sleep and the adult to read a magazine. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The cylindrical portion centered on the axle permits to simply rotate the mobile part in order to increase the volume of the overhead cab by reducing the presence of salient angle in the caravan, and hence allowing adult persons to fully utilize the large volume for sleeping or reading the magazine. The end portion of the mobile front wall permanently rests near the fixed front wall during the rotation of the mobile part, thus ensuring a better sealing to a camper and inner volume of the caravan so as to isolate the inner volume of the caravan from the exterior in a better manner, and hence maintaining heat, preventing rise in humidity and intrusion of small animals into the caravan. The guiding unit is light in weight, inexpensive, has reduced encumbrance, and improves the rigidity of the overhead cab in order to ensure a safe and reliable functioning of the cab.
