It has been a practice to prepare a chicken or pork chop by roasting while remaining the bone part serving as a handle which is discarded after eating. In some cases, these bones are washed, coated with minced meat and roasted to give sausages with bone. However, these bones are slippery when held with fingers in the step of washing, coating with minced meat or eating. In the case of reusing, there arises a problem that these bones per se undergo unsanitary conditions due to the contamination with infectious microorganisms growing therein and so on even after sterilizing in boiling water. Further, the repeated use thereof is restricted to several times at the largest. To overcome these problems, it is intended to provide a meat with bone. Namely, a meat with bone which comprises a ceramic bone (2) made of a ceramic material (optionally reinforced with fibers) put into a meat block while keeping handle parts (3) outside the meat block, wherein the surface layer (5) of the bone is roughened and a projection (9) is located along the major axis (7) of the bone. |
