REACTOR VESSEL FOR PRODUCTION OF SECONDARY BUTANOL

Disclosed is a reactor vessel for production of secondary butanol wherein an n-butene is directly hydrated by using an aqueous heteropoly acid solution as a catalyst. This reactor vessel for production of secondary butanol is characterized by comprising a circulation mechanism for circulating the aqueous heteropoly acid solution within the reactor vessel. An inner piping is preferably used as the circulation mechanism.
