METHOD OF KNITTING TUBULAR KNITTED FABRIC AND TUBULAR KNITTED FABRIC

A fabric which does not produce a large hole at the boundary portion between a front side knitted fabric portion and a rear side knitted fabric portion even when a tubular knitted fabric is knitted by a double system knitting. A method of knitting a tubular knitted fabric for performing a tubular, continuous knitting by a double system knitting where yarns are fed from two feeding ports by using a weft knitting machine having at least a pair of front and rear needle beds to enable stitch transferring between the front and rear needle beds. This knitting method forms a boundary wale at the front-rear boundary between the front side knitted fabric portion and the rear side knitted fabric portion, wherein the this boundary wale is formed by continuously forming stitches while twisting the stitches, and coiling knitting yarns different from those forming these twisted stitches around the twisted stitches.
