FILE SYSTEM MIGRATION METHOD, PROGRAM AND APPARATUS

It is disclosed that a file system can be migrated without moving data. A migration source file system (11) outputs a physical block number included in extent information to a device driver (25). A migration driver (22) intercepts an I/O request to the device driver (25) to acquire the physical block number of an I/O destination. A migration tool (21) acquires the physical block number from the migration driver (22) and outputs the physical block number to a migration destination file system to allow the migration of the file system.
