Disclosed is a device for promoting regenerative tissue processes, especially for treating arthrosis in a joint cavity as well as osteonecrosis in a joint region. Said device comprises several primary light sources emitting point-shaped light and a holding mechanism which is used for retaining the light sources and arranging the same relative to the affected joint cavity or the affected joint region in such a way that the size of the primary light sources is adjusted to the width of the joint cavity and the arrangement of the light sources is adapted to the morphological shape of the joint cavity or the joint region.
