A rotary apparatus of a rotating body is provided to safely hold and rotate rotating bodies having different sizes in accordance with the degree of opening of jaws. A rotary apparatus of a rotating body(60) includes an accommodation cap(10), a movable block(20), jaws(40), a rotating bolt(30), a first spring(51) and a second spring(52). The accommodation cap has an upper surface with a bolt hole(11) and an open lower portion. The movable block is contained into the accommodation cap, and has an outer surface with support grooves(21). Each jaw has one end rotatably fastened to the support groove and supported between the movable block and the accommodation cap, and the other end exposed outwardly from the accommodation cap so as to hold the rotating body. The jaw has an intermediate portion having an inclined plane(41) pressed by an edge of the accommodation cap. The rotating bolt has one end bolt-jointed to the bolt hole and secured at the movable block, and the other end exposed outwardly from the accommodation cap. The first spring is interposed between an upper surface of the movable block and the inner surface of the accommodation cap. The second spring is interposed between the movable block and each jaw so as to elastically open each jaw. The jaws are arranged to tighten or loosen the rotating body in accordance with the rotating direction of the rotating bolt. |
