A semiautomatic opening and closing device for a door is provided to close the door automatically due to winding/unwinding of a spiral spring and to utilize the device for either a sliding-type door or a hinged door. A semiautomatic opening and closing device for a door comprises a body unit, a housing(20), a spiral spring(30), a large gear(40), a wire(50), a reduction bearing(60), a guide(71), an abrasion preventing unit(72) and a damper. The body unit includes a front cover(11) and a rear cover which is combined with the front cover by a pin(12). The housing is connected inside the body unit, having a hanging unit(21) at the center inside. The spiral spring is arranged inside the housing and hung by the hanging unit. The large gear is placed at the front side of the housing and axially mounted by being fitted to a front end of the hanging unit. The wire is wound on one side of the housing, having its end projected from the outer surface of the body unit. The reduction bearing is axially mounted with a small gear(61) engaged with the large gear, and is combined inside the body unit. The guide is mounted outside the housing with the wire wound to promote extension and contraction of the wire and prevent unwinding of the wire. The abrasion preventing unit prevents abrasion of the wire during the extension and contraction of the wire. The damper inside the rear cover absorbs impact between the door and the door frame when the door is closed, having a cylinder structure with a contraction unit(81) which makes contraction when contacted with the closing door. |
