摘要 A manufacturing method of a modulator for an electric optical apparatus is provided to detect the existence of a fault in a panel by means of the modulator. A process for supplying a transmission substrate is performed(S1). An electrode layer is formed at the rear of the transmission substrate(S2). The liquid crystal mixing solution is coated on the rear of the electrode layer. Thereafter, a reflection layer is supplied(S4). A conduction layer is stacked on the front surface of the reflection layer(S5). The front surface of the reflection layer is bonded to the rear of the liquid crystal mixing solution(S6). Thereafter, the liquid crystal mixing solution is cured so that a PDLC(Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) is formed(S7). The bonding process of the liquid crystal mixing solution also includes the rolling process of the reflection layer. The reflection layer is a reflection film or a reflection glass. The electrode layer plays a role of an electrode, that is, a common electrode and is a light path. The common electrode forms the electric field between panel electrodes.
