<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission method by cyclic communication by which data transmission of packet communication can be allocated to areas of all terminals connected to a network when required. <P>SOLUTION: Each terminal connected to a control network includes a cyclic memory with a cyclic variable area and a cyclic fixed area, and a terminal desiring use of the cyclic variable area in the cyclic memory for superimposing data of the packet communication onto cyclic data notifies a cyclic master terminal about the desired use of the cyclic variable area, when the cyclic master terminal can allocate the cyclic variable area to the terminal desiring the use, the cyclic master terminal notifies each terminal about the permission of the use of the cyclic variable area to the above terminal desiring the use, and a terminal not desiring the use of the cyclic variable area notifies the cyclic master terminal about the undesired use, and the cyclic master terminal notifies each terminal about no use of the cyclic variable area of the terminal not desiring the use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
