PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed wiring board having a resistance element which can inhibit an increase of an occupied area of the resistance element formed on the printed wiring board and can reduce a damage to the resistant body due to heating in energizing a resistant body, in the printed wiring board whose wiring layer is laminated through an insulating layer, a wiring circuit is formed energizing between each wiring layers through a conductive passage penetrating the insulating layer, and a pair of electrodes and the resistance element of resistant body are provided between the electrodes at least on one layer of the wiring layers. SOLUTION: The resistance element includes a resistance body which electrically connect between a pair of electrodes, by covering an insulating layer between a pair of electrodes and a part or all of the pair of electrodes. The area S1 of the resistant body on the insulating layer of a pair of electrodes covered with the resistant body is formed larger than the area S2 of the resistant body on the insulating layer between a pair of electrodes covered with the resistant body.
