PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head supporting structural body in which its constitution is simplified and miniaturization of the whole apparatus is attempted. SOLUTION: A thermal head 11 for heating a sheet material 5, a platen roller 12 for conveying the sheet material 5 by pressing the thermal head 11, a head supporting member 13 provided movably in the approaching and separating direction to the platen roller 12 and supporting the thermal head 11, and a head energizing member 14 for energizing the head supporting member 13 to the platen roller 12 side, are provided. The head energizing member 14 comprises an elastic material, and has a pressing part 14a for pressing the head supporting member 13 to the platen roller 12 side, and holding parts 14b provided on both end parts of this pressing part 14a and holding the platen roller 12.
