PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation knob attachment mounted on an operation knob, not obstructing exposure of a predetermined display surface in the operation knob. SOLUTION: This operation knob attachment 520 is freely attached and detached to and from a curved operation knob 513 for operating a curved part, which is disposed in the operation part in an endoscope including at least an insertion part having a curved part and an operation part 510 disposed at the base end side of the insertion part. A cutout part 522 formed in the operation knob attachment is shaped to expose an information display part in the curved operation knob when the operation knob attachment is mounted on the curved operation knob.
