SEISMIC STRENGTHENED WINDOW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic strengthened window capable of withstanding a horizontal stress in earthquake by mounting a reinforcement member on a window frame forming the window of a wooden building to reinforce a framework in contact with an opening in which the window is installed. SOLUTION: In this window 1 having four sides and forming a square shape, a seismic reinforced member 3 is joined to four corners of the window frame 2 and a seismic strengthening member intermediate plate 4 is joined to the window frame 2 between the adjacent seismic strengthening members 3.
