PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for a prefabricated scaffold, which contributes to improved safety of work on a stage plank. SOLUTION: The handrail is for use in the prefabricated scaffold which is constructed by assembling building frames 1 each consisting of right and left vertical members 2, 2, and a horizontal member 3 connecting between the vertical members 2, 2. The handrail is formed of: handrail holders 7 which are detachably attached to the vertical members 2 of the building frame 1 along the same; and a handrail rod 8 extended between the handrail holders 7, 7 attached to the building frames 1, 1. Each handrail holder 7 has pin insertion holes 10 at upper and lower ends 7a, 7b thereof, which are fitted onto crossing brace mounting lock pins 9 protruded from upper and lower ends of the vertical member 2 of the building frame 1, and handrail rod mounting lock pins 11 protruded therefrom at intermediate necessary locations between the upper end pin insertion hole 10 and the lower end pin insertion hole 10. Further the handrail rod 8 has pin insertion holes 12 at both ends thereof, which are fitted onto the handrail rod mounting lock pins 11 of the handrail holder 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
