PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article display device capable of being easily and repeatedly converted between a counter state and a hanger state and stably displaying articles. SOLUTION: In the article display device in which upper and lower trays 2 and 3 are attached to the front surface of a back plate 4 and which can be converted to the counter state and the hanger state accompanying the bending and stretching of the back plate 4, an upper folding line 6 and a lower folding line 7 are made between the trays 2 and 3 of the back plate 4, and a locking piece 9 extended downwards from the upper folding line 6 and a support piece 12 positioned below the lower folding line 7 are provided on the rear surface of the back plate 4. In the counter state, a part between the upper folding line 6 and the lower folding line 7 of the back plate 4 is bent in a horizontal direction, the tray 2 on the upper stage side 2 is mounted on the part, the support piece 12 is bent so as to be projected from the back plate 4 to the rear part and the support piece 9 and the locking piece 12 are engaged.
