PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid dynamic bearing motor allowing circulation maintenance of a fluid and miniaturization by generating dynamic pressure capable of supporting a rotating body even in low-speed rotation. SOLUTION: This fluid dynamic bearing motor has: a round housing 11 having a coil joined to an edge thereof; a sleeve 12 including a protruded part joined to a central part of the housing and a round contact part integrally connected with the protruded part by forming a thickness; a round hub 14 having an inner surface joined to the contact part and having a magnet 15 attached to an edge thereof to be faced to a coil 13; a stopper 16 positioned between the housing and the contact part and joined to the hub to prevent the sleeve from being detached from the hub; a storing part 18 having a space formed between the stopper and the sleeve filled with fluid 19 for supplying and maintaining the fluid in a gap formed between the contact part and the inner surface. A penetration hole 17 is formed from a center of the sleeve toward an edge of the sleeve; the penetration hole is formed by being spatially separated from the storing part. The fluid dynamic bearing motor generates dynamic pressure capable of sufficiently supporting the hub even in low-speed rotation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
