<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intracoelomic observation device simply structured without separately disposed machinery, detecting the distal end part of a treatment instrument or insertion instrument. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel group of the same color as of a green marker M attached to the treatment instrument 12 is extracted by a pixel extraction part 94 from the image showing the inside of a body cavity captured by an observation unit 16, and the position of the center of gravity of the pixel group is calculated by a calculation part 96 as the position of the marker M. In this way, the position of the marker M can be detected only by incorporating the circuits of the pixel extraction part 94 and the calculation part 96 in the image processing circuit, and therefore, the distal end of the treatment instrument 12 can be detected by the simple structure without separately disposed machinery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
