<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of opening the periphery of a conveying path widely when removing a recording paper sheet, thereby reducing the space therefor and also capable of downsizing an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Both ends of a movable guide plate 35 is rotatably supported around the shaft 32a of a pressure roll 32 by relay shafts 35b and rollers 35c. Thus, the movable guide plate 35 can move and rotate along the peripheral surface of the pressure roll 32. Since the moving space of the movable guide plate 35 is widely secured near the peripheral surface of the pressure roll 32 and the movable guide plate 35 is largely moved, the conveying path of the recording paper is widely opened and the recording paper is easily removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
