<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional image forming device cannot change setting information in a power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device F1 comprises an interface part F12 for transmitting/receiving signals to/from a PC client even in the power saving mode, an information storage part F14 which is in a stop state, shut off from a power supply in the power saving mode and, when the setting state revision request for the image forming device is made in a power saving mode, which is supplied with power and becomes capable of respond, and an SNMP controller F11 which controls the information storage part F14 according to the SNMP signal from a PC client. Thereby, even in the power saving mode, the information storage part F14 can be started according to the SNMP signal from the PC client F1 to revise the setting information including the specified emulation of the image forming device or user account information or the like recorded in the information storage part F14 of the image forming device F1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
