<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-on reset circuit capable of outputting a stable reset pulse independently of a rising speed or a trailing speed of a power supply voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The power-on reset circuit 1 is provided with a start time adjustment section 2, a comparison voltage generating section 3, a comparator 4, a constant current source 5, and an Nch MOS transistor NT5. The start time adjustment section 2 adjusts a comparison start time between a reference voltage Vref and an input voltage Vin received by the comparator 4, and the comparison voltage generating section 3 generates a voltage subjected to resistance division in response to a leading or a change in a power supply voltage. The comparator 4 receives the input voltage Vin and the reference voltage Vref and outputs a compared and amplified output signal Out.
