PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern, which gives a vivid and fresh appearance and is full of visual variation. SOLUTION: This pattern (I) with coloristic variation is used by being added to a dress material or onto a soft material for informal dress and consists of a pattern block designed mainly on cloth or the soft material and one transparent sheet covered with the pattern bock under the condition that a refracted wave pattern is formed on the surface of the transparent sheet so as to produce visual coloristic variation through refraction when the pattern bock is seen from different angles.
