PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-part or two-part composition curable by a metathesis reaction. SOLUTION: The composition curable by the metathesis reaction comprises a resin containing a polyether-based substrate with at least two cycloolefin groups per molecule curable by the metathesis reaction with a metathesis catalyst. The composition may optionally contain a reaction controlling agent for retarding the progress of the metathesis reaction. The metathesis catalyst can be a ruthenium carbene complex catalyst.
