PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal sealant which little contaminates liquid crystals in a liquid crystal-dropping industrial method and is excellent in adhesiveness, high temperature high humidity adhesiveness and liquid crystal display characteristics, and to provide a liquid crystal display panel using the same. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal sealant of one-pack thermosetting resin composition comprises (1) at least one copolymer which is obtained by copolymerizing an acrylate and/or a methacrylate with one or more other ethylenic unsaturated monomers, has at least one epoxy group in one molecule, and has a weight-average mol.wt. of 1,000 to 10,000, (2) a latent epoxy curing agent, and (3) an epoxy resin having a softening point of≥40°C by a ring and ball method and having a weight-average mol.wt. of 1,000 to 10,000, as essential components.
