PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable four cycle engine capable of facilitating work service for the inspection of an oil quantity, filling and replenishing lubricating oil. SOLUTION: An oil supply pipe 40 formed of heat resistant synthetic resin containing a translucent reinforcement material, and in an embodiment, a polyamide with glass fiber is installed to an oil pan in a state of being inclined rearward. Moreover, a thin wall thickness part 40e, an upper side rib 40f, and a lower side lib 40g making visible that a storage quantity of lubricating oil EO stored in the oil pan 13 is in a range between a lower limit and an upper limit of a standard level are formed on the outer surface of the oil supply pipe 40.
