PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical cover member for closing a clearance formed between an internal corner wall and a vertical frame of fittings such as a door or a window sash adjacent to the internal corner wall, without impairing appearance. SOLUTION: The vertical cover member 11 has a front face part 12 having a width dimension that can close the clearance B, a side face part extended along the outer side face of the vertical frame from one edge in the width direction of the front face part 12, and a plurality of lock grooves formed in the side face part at predetermined spaces in a height direction and having openings in the tip edge of the side face part. An outer side face 8a of the vertical frame 8 has a plurality of guide protrusions 90 formed at predetermined spaces in the height direction and engaged with the respective lock grooves of the vertical cover member 11, and one or more elastically holding members 10 for elastically holding the tip side part of the side face part of the vertical cover member 11 between themselves and the outer side face 8a in the engaged state of the guide protrusions 90 with the lock grooves. The vertical cover member 11 is mounted to the outer side face 8a of the vertical frame 8 so that the front face part 12 hides the clearance B and the guide protrusions 90.
