PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine provided with an antibacterial-agent feeding means capable of maintaining effective antibacterial properties under a stable concentration for a long period while removing a trouble such as discoloration due to elution of an antibacterial component of high concentration. SOLUTION: A housing case 22 having water holes 25 on the front side facing the inside is provided at a lower part of a washing tub 11 in combination with a spin-drying tub provided with an agitator 13 at the inner bottom. The antibacterial agent 24 with a gentle solubility to water is housed inside the case 22. A drain 30 for drainage of water inside the case 22 is provided at the lower part of the case 22 at a position below an upper face S of the agitator 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
