METHOD FOR MEASURING ACTIVITY OF DEACETYLATION ENZYME, AND METHOD FOR SCREENING INHIBITER OR PROMOTER OF THE ENZYME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply evaluating acetylation level of a peptide, to provide enzyme activity measurement base on the method, and to provide a method for screening an enzyme inhibitor. SOLUTION: Acetylation of a peptide level is decided by using the fact that the change of the acetylation level is reflected on peptidase sensitivity of a substrate peptide. The method is usable for measuring activity of a deacetylation enzyme or an acetylation enzyme, and screening of materials effective to the enzyme activity is possible.
