PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding rice transplanter having compact installation spaces for the right and left operation channels of a manual operation tool and a simplified structure for the detection of the operation position of the manual operation tool in the case of operating desired small number of row clutches to the working state and the stopped state by an electric motor. SOLUTION: The rice transplanter is provided with an all row operation position ON, and the right and left operation channels 79, 80 extended from the all row operation position ON in the same directions, and further provided with a detection device to detect the operating position of a manual operation tool 50 at the all row operation position ON and the right and left operation channels 79, 80. All detection signals from the all row operation position ON and the right and left operation channels 79, 80 are different from each other. When the manual operation tool 50 is operated from the all row operation position ON to the right operation channel 79 based on the detection signal of the detection device, the clutches are stopped successively from the right (or left in the case of operating the tool to the left operation channel 80) small number row clutch.
