摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an edible plant in which nitrate nitrogen content is lowered in a culturing method using an artificial culture medium and to provide a method for producing an edible plant having high sugar content and amino acid content and to provide an edible plant having high safety or high quality, obtained by the above methods. SOLUTION: In the production method, nitrate nitrogen content in the edible plant is reduced by utilizing high peptide absorbing ability which the edible plant has and supplying the peptide, etc., as a nitrogen source to the edible plant, and sugar content in the edible plant is increased by saving energy consumed for assimilation of nitrate nitrogen in the plant.
