A laundry dryer is provided to collect lint and to prevent the collected lint from being discharged to the outside by installing a filter collecting the lint at more upper part of air flow in drying operation than a branched location of a discharge path. A laundry dryer comprises a dry chamber(23), an evaporator(54), a condenser(55) and a filter(70). A heat pump is composed of the evaporator and the condenser. The heat pump is connected between a feed port and a discharge port of the dry chamber. The laundry is dried by circulating the air in the dry chamber through a ventilating path. The filter collects lint. The filter is installed at more upper part than a branched location of a discharge path for air flow in an air path(51). |
