PREPARING METHOD OF FEED FOR THE CONTROL OF BEE MITE

A method of manufacturing feed for controlling a honey bee mite(Varroa destructor) by mixing cymiazole as a miticide with pollen or a pollen substitute as a source of nutrients for infant rearing is provided to obtain the feed which exhibits superior controlling effects against a young honey bee mite and is good for rearing and propagation of honey bees. Pollen or a pollen substitute is mixed with sugar. Cymiazole is dissolved in distilled water at 20 to 32deg.C for 10 to 15min to obtain 0.01 to 1.0% by weight of an aqueous cymiazole solution. The aqueous cymiazole solution is added to the pollen and pollen substitute mixture for 30min to 4hr and kneaded to obtain pollen cake. The pollen cake is fermented at 25 to 32deg.C for 3 to 7 days to obtain the titled feed containing 0.001 to 1.0% by weight of cymiazole.
