A system and method for predicting a coastal inundation using a scenario of a storm surge are provided to minimize damage due to storm/tidal wave at a costal area by constructing probable storm/tidal wave scenarios from history information of past storm. A damage analyzing module(310) selects a plurality of target storm information among real storm information and extracts main factors from each target storm in response to operation of a database constructor. A scenario constructing module(320) generates storm damage prediction information of each target storm while changing the main factors within a set scenario range. A scenario result database(330) stores the storm damage prediction information of each target scenario. A predicted damage result outputting module(340) outputs information of the height of a wave, flooding area, and flooding height corresponding to information inputted from a user computer(100). |
