The invention relates to a hand-held electric machine tool (10) comprising an air-cooling electric motor (14), in particular an encapsulated asynchronous motor consisting of a rotor (16) and a stator (20). The aim of said invention is to improve the cooling of the inventive machine tool. For this purpose, at least one channel (44) for cooling air (27) is longitudinally extended through the rotor (16) for producing an internal cooling and said motor is provided with a hollow shaft.
