A recording information management method using a view level of a broadcasting recording apparatus is provided to store a broadcasting program, recorded in the broadcasting recording apparatus, in a storage space of different folders according to the view levels and allow a user to access the record program file of the folder by inputting a password, thereby more easily managing the program files by the view levels. A recording information management method using a view level of a broadcasting recording apparatus comprises the following steps of: designating recording distinction information for a corresponding broadcasting program when recording a digital broadcasting program; storing a recorded program in a folder designated by the designated recording distinction information among plural recording distinction folders generated according as a storage space is divided according to recording distinction(S10); and allowing access to the recorded program by performing distinction according to the recording distinction information designated to each recording distinction folder when searching a record list of the recorded broadcasting programs stored in the storage space(S14,S18).
