<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic luminescent display device in which a reinforcing material can be formed simultaneously on external side faces of unit display panels arranged in order. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the display panel includes a step in which organic electroluminescent elements are formed in each of pixel areas of a first mother substrate including a plurality of pixel areas and non-pixel areas, a step in which frits are formed in areas corresponding to each of the non-pixel areas of a second mother substrate, a step in which the second mother substrate is bonded with the first mother substrate so that each of the pixel areas can be sealed by the frit, and a step in which the first mother substrate and the second mother substrate bonded with each other are cut to make separated unit display panels, a step in which the unit display panels are arranged in order, and a step in which the reinforcing material is coated on the external face sides of a plurality of the unit display panels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
