<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy and safe financial transaction in an instant messaging (IM) environment. <P>SOLUTION: One or both of users can start an IM financial transaction mechanism during a chat session. The IM financial transaction mechanism analyzes the chat text and presents a draft transaction to both of a purchaser and a seller according to selection based on the analyzed chat text. The draft transaction can be changed by either of the purchaser and the seller, and if all of the contents are accurate, both of the purchase and the seller settle the draft transaction. Then, the settled transaction is sent to a web server including an interface to an online account of the purchaser, and payment is carried out by sending a fund for the settled transaction to an account of the seller from the online account of the purchaser. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
