<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which efficiently switches operation systems of a booster circuit and operates, and its control method. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device has the booster circuit (12) which boosts a DC source voltage by a plurality of operation systems, a display section (13) which is driven by an output voltage from the booster circuit and constituted by arraying a plurality of pixels each comprising a spontaneous light emitting element, and a control section (14) which controls the booster circuit to switch the operation system among the plurality of operation systems in an off period of the spontaneous light emitting element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
