PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission control device, equipment managing system, and transmission control method, which allow other equipment to detect address duplication abnormality even if no command is issued to the equipment from outside. SOLUTION: A first adapter 40 comprises a first receiver, a determination part, and a first transmitter. The first adapter 40 is connected to a second adapter 60 by way of a first network 10. The first receiver receives a second transmission data from the second adapter 60 by way of the first network 10. The determination part determines whether an originator address of the second transmission data duplicates with the address of the first adapter 40 or not. If the determination part determines that the originator address of the second transmission data duplicates with the address of the first adapter 40, the first transmitter spontaneously transmits a third transmission data containing abnormality notification signal by way of the first network 10.
