PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an O<SB>2</SB>sensor attaching structure in a small vessel capable of improving the durability of the O<SB>2</SB>sensor. SOLUTION: In the sensor mounting structure for the small vessel where an opening is formed at a deck covering an engine 3, and the opening is covered with a freely opening and closing lid member, a detecting part 41a of the O<SB>2</SB>sensor 41 is made to face a cylinder of an engine 3 or an exhaust passage, and the exhaust pipe 22 connected with the engine 3 is arranged above at least one part of the O<SB>2</SB>sensor 41.
