PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure circularity of a cylinder bore inner peripheral surface, when installing a cylinder block and a cylinder head, by performing honing processing without using a dummy head, by devising a cylinder liner. SOLUTION: This cylinder liner 12 is provided in the cylinder block 10 of an engine. A liner thick part 12a forming the thickness thicker than the other part, is arranged in a predetermined position of an outer peripheral part. The predetermined position of the outer peripheral part is the vicinity of a bottom part 15a of a water jacket 15 in a position corresponding to a head bolt fastening hole 13a.
