PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nap fabric having an uneven pattern, comprising thermally fusing the nap fibers of the pilose fabric to draw the pattern edge-sharp uneven pattern in the nap layer, strongly fuse the thermally fused fiber products in dent portions in a state not dropping the products, and enhance the abrasion resistance of the dent portions due to the thermally fused nap fiber products. SOLUTION: This method for producing the nap fabric having the uneven pattern is characterized by printing an anti-fusing agent for preventing the thermal fusion of thermally fusible standing fibers 25 on the surface of the nap fabric in which the surface of a base fabric 23 is covered with a nap layer 24 having a thickness of≤2 mm and composed of the standing fibers 25 having a single fiber fineness of≤11 dtex, irradiating laser beams on the surface of the pilose fabric to thermally fuse the standing fibers in non-printed portions not printed with the anti-fusing agent without thermally fusing the standing fibers in printed portions printed with the anti-fusing agent, thereby forming dent portions 27 wherein the nap layer is sunk, and bringing the fused standing fiber masses into contact with the base fabric at the bottoms of the dent portions to form fine unevenness wherein a distance L between convex portions 33 is <100μm and a difference D between the concave and convex is smaller than the distance L.
