PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane resin-forming composition for sealants which are excellent in alkali resistance, can be applied to produce large-sized hollow fiber membrane modules, can, if necessary, also be applied to desired relatively low hardness sealants for hollow fiber membrane modules, and are used for the hollow fiber membrane modules, and to provide a sealant for hollow fiber membrane modules, capable of being obtained from the forming composition. SOLUTION: This polyurethane resin-forming composition for sealants used for hollow fiber membrane modules is characterized by containing an aliphatic hydrocarbon-based polyol having a specific side chain aliphatic hydrocarbon group.
