PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing organic acid silver salt particles for excellent silver salt photothermal photographic dry-imaging material with slight fogging development, and to provide such a silver salt photothermal photographic dry-imaging material and a method of image formation each using the organic acid silver salt particles. SOLUTION: The method or producing the organic acid silver salt particles comprises the following procedure: Using a static mixer, a silver salt-containing solution and an organic acid alkali metal salt solution or suspension are fed via respective feed pipes and mixed together. In this procedure, the Reynolds number in the mixing in the static mixer is greater than 3,000 and the length of the inner side of a mixing discharge pipe is equal to or longer than the length determined by calculation from a specific formula.
