METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSMISSION OF NOTIFICATION MESSAGE IN A MOBILE BROADCAST SYSTEM

A method and a device for providing a notification message in a portable broadcasting system are provided to transmit the notification message at an interaction channel as well as a broadcasting channel by defining the notification message at the interaction channel. A notification generation function makes the notification message corresponding to a received notification event if receiving the notification event through a predetermined method(701,702). The notification generation function decides a path of the notification message. If the path of the notification message is an interaction channel, a transmission request message including a target address of a corresponding terminal is transmitted to a notification distribution/adaptation function. The notification distribution/adaptation function receiving the transmission request message confirms the transmission path and the target address, and transmits a notification message to the terminal through the target address(721,723).
